This pale straw colored crowd pleasing sparkler from J Vineyards is very good. It opens with a red apple and buttered bread like bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering with very nice effervescence. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused citrus blend featuring gentle lime and light grapefruit with hints of quince mixed in. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Panel thought this sparkler would pair well with fried shrimp or tempura.
